My name is Paul Cooper. My background is British Army and then Durham County Ambulance Service. Our First Aid company uses only Serving or Ex Serving Emergency Service Personnel, this way our students are taught through experience as well as knowledge.

Hi, I’m Allan. I have been a first aid instructor for 19 years and I have delivered courses all over the UK. I’ve worked for F.A.C.T since it began in 2014. I was a paramedic in Durham county ambulance service for over twelve years and use this experience when teaching my courses.

I am a highly motivated and dynamic trainer and having served thirty years in the fire service as a firefighter, crew manager and brigade instructor, I deliver training from real world experiences. I continue to gain practical experience as a first responder for event safety companies in the North east.
We also now have Barry Jackson, who has transferred from teaching Biology to Schools for over 25 years and is now supporting events in First Aid cover and has finished his FREC 3 award, so is now as qualified as an ambulance technician.
